As you have probably heard, National Change of Address (NCOA) or Move updates will be required for all Standard Class Mail as of November 23, 2008. I believe, and most of you will probably agree, that this is actually a good thing. With Postage increases, each piece of mail is becoming more valuable to you and your customers. The required NCOA updates will make your mail more deliverable by:

  • Checking your list against the NCOA Service to ensure that thy are up to date.
  • Lowering your Postage
  • Reducing delayed and undeliverable mail
  • Increasing your return on investment with mailings

There are multiple services you can purchase to accommodate your NCOA updates, but I will only outline two of them here: BCC and Satori Software. In the past, you had to pre-pay for credits before you could have your list NCOA updated; many customers would purchase millions at a time at an average of $2.00 - $3.00 per thousand but you had the option to purchase as little as a few thousand at a cost of about $5.00 per thousand. Now BCC and Satori customers can pay one fee for an unlimited amount of NCOA updates.

Satori customers, who are already using Satori CASS software, will have the option to purchase unlimited NCOA credits for just $995 per year. With Satori, your list is updated using 48 month data (most other services only go back 18 months). These updates are also conducted in real-time!

BCC Customers can purchase unlimited NCOA Credits for $1,950.00 per year. BCC offers fast turn-around updates - Usually within 5 - 10 minutes.

We offer both packages here at Addresser Based Systems. Please feel free to call anytime to request informaiton 800-398-5786. Or visit our website at www.addresserbasedsystems.com
